Sonelgaz: Call for tenders for 15 solar power plants with a total capacity of 2000 MW
The Sonelgaz Group has launched a national and international call for tenders covering the study, engineering, civil engineering, supply, transport, assembly, training, testing, and commissioning of 15 solar photovoltaic power plants, with a total capacity of 2000 MW distributed in 15 lots including their connection.
The call for tenders was launched by Sonelgaz-Renewable Energies (Sonelgaz-EnR). Registered under the N°01/CEEG/2023, it was published by the publishing and advertising company BAOSEM, Monday, February 27, 2023.
The 15 solar power plants will be installed in 11 wilayas, according to the tender. Thus, in the wilaya of Béchar, two solar power plants of 80 MW and 120 MW will be realized respectively in Abadla and Kenadsa.
In M’sila, a 220 MW power plant will be built in Batmete. In Bordj Bou Arreridj and Batna, two 80 MW photovoltaic solar power plants will be installed in the localities of Ras El Oued and Merouana.
In the wilaya of Laghouat, a 200 MW power plant will be built in Aflou. In Ghardaïa and Tiaret, two 80 MW power plants will be installed in Guerara and Frenda. In El Oued, two 200 MW and 80 MW stations will be built respectively in Nakhla and Taleb Larbi.
A 220 MW solar power plant will be built in Touggourt. Another of 120 MW will be realized in M’ghaier. Finally, in the wilaya of Biskra, three solar power plants of 200 MW, 80 MW and 150 MW will be realized respectively in Leghrous, Tolga and Khenguet Sidi Nadji.
“The tender is addressed to companies operating in the energy sector that can prove their ability to perform all the services covered by the tender and that have proven and authenticated references in similar projects, namely: Solar photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 40 MWp and more, ” according to the document
“Algerian companies can participate in this call for tenders, only if they have the capacities and references mentioned above”, specifies the same source, who adds: “However, Algerian companies must have the financial capacity and proven and authenticated references in industrial and energy projects”.
Tenders must be submitted no later than Monday, May 29, 2023 at 10:00 am (local time) to the following address: Conference room, Electricity and gas engineering Company (CEEG) Spa, Building 700 Offices, RN 38-Ford of Constantine-Kouba-Algiers.
